Turning Trash Into Your Favorite Tee: Celebrating National Recycling Day with Allmade® - We are kind - by Cromatiko

In honor of National Recycling Day on November 15, 2024, Allmade®, an eco-conscious apparel brand founded in the Pacific Northwest, is making waves with their latest video update, showcasing new data on their environmental impact and sustainable practices.

From day one, Allmade has championed the creation of sustainable, high-quality apparel using organic cotton and recycled materials. Their process isn’t just about eco-friendly fabrics—it’s about revolutionizing the way we think about clothing production. By partnering with factories powered by renewable energy, they’re tackling the environmental footprint of fashion head-on and setting a standard for positive social change.

Did You Know?

In the United States alone, an astonishing 60 million plastic water bottles are discarded daily, leading to over 22 billion bottles each year. Shockingly, 70-80% of these end up in landfills or as litter, with only a small fraction being recycled. Allmade saw an opportunity to help address this waste crisis by transforming these bottles into something new: high-quality, comfortable, and sustainable t-shirts.

A Remarkable Journey in Recycling

Since launching in 2016, Allmade has recycled approximately 51 million water bottles into their fabric. They’ve also repurposed 39,317 pounds of cotton scraps into their unique Recycled Blend Fabric, reducing waste while creating tees that are soft, durable, and better for the planet. Their new video, released for National Recycling Day, dives deeper into this journey, reflecting Allmade's commitment to ethical production and environmental responsibility.
