Earth Week: A week That Meant More Than Numbers

This Earth Week, something simple, but powerful, happened.

Together, we planted 114 trees.

And while that number matters, what matters even more is how we got there.

It wasn’t just about purchases. Yes, every order helped plant trees, but so did something just as important: you sharing the message.

Every time you wore a WAK tee, posted a story, told a friend, or even just paused to think about doing something better for the planet, it created a ripple. And those ripples added up.

We also took things offline.

During the week, we hosted a small pop-up shop at Toastique, Winter Garden, where we gave away plants to customers. Something green, something alive, something to take home and care for.

Moments like that remind us that impact doesn’t always have to be big or complex. Sometimes it’s just about creating a connection, with nature, with others, or even with ourselves.

And behind all of this, there’s a bigger layer that we care deeply about.

We partner with Trees for the Future because of the way they approach reforestation through what they call Forest Gardens.

This isn’t just about planting trees randomly. It’s about helping farmers and communities build sustainable ecosystems where trees, crops, and people all support each other. These gardens restore soil, provide food, create income, and make communities more resilient over time. It’s long-term impact. Real impact. And that’s the kind of work we want to be part of.

Because at the end of the day, We Are Kind has never just been about products but about creating something that feels meaningful. Something that connects daily actions with real-world change.

And this week was a reminder of that. That small actions matter. That community matters. That doing something, anything, is always better than doing nothing.

So thank you for being part of this.

If this week sparked something in you, don’t let it stop here. Keep choosing better, keep sharing the message, and keep being part of the kind of change the world actually needs.
