This past Saturday, the WAK Running Club showed up in full force at the Best Damn Race Orlando, embracing the challenge of the 5K, 10K, and 21K distances. With every step, our runners embodied the spirit of movement, perseverance, and most importantly—kindness.
From the early morning race jitters to the adrenaline rush at the finish line, the event was more than just a test of endurance; it was a celebration of community. Runners of all levels came together, proving that kindness is not just something we give to others, but something we show ourselves by challenging our limits and supporting one another.
The energy on the course was electric, with high-fives, cheers, and encouraging words exchanged between strangers-turned-teammates. Whether it was someone running their first 5K or pushing through a half marathon, the collective spirit was undeniable.
At We Are Kind, we believe that kindness is an everyday practice, one that extends beyond words and into action. Running together, supporting each other, and showing up for ourselves and our community is just another way we bring this belief to life.

Every step counts, and kindness always leads the way.
As we cool down from this race, we’re already looking forward to the next. If you’ve been thinking about joining, consider this your sign!
Stay tuned on our Instagram page for upcoming runs, and let’s keep spreading kindness one stride at a time.
